Foodie 500!
The FOODIE 500 is an app for iPhone & iTouch devices which as 500 awesome, sometimes shocking, and sometimes useless facts, but so great and interesting that you will want more and more! There are even helpful food and cooking tips!
What makes this app so great? It's specific to food and beverage and is a collection of the best selected food facts out there!
For instance, did you know that there are 8 insect legs in the average chocolate bar?
Or, that if all the Coca-Cola bottles in the world were laid end to end that they would reach the moon and back more than 1,677 times?
Or, that the average American eats 18 acres of pizza in their lifetime?
Or, that bananas contain a natural chemical which can make a person happy. This same chemical is also found in Prozac.
Or, that the 'spot' on 7-Up comes from its inventor who had red eyes. He was albino.
Or, that if you only need half an onion, save the root half. It will last longer.
